1. Purpose & Scope

These Publication Policies outline the guidelines under which Stately Luxury Home Staging & Interior Design Journal (the “Journal”) will create, publish, and manage its content. They apply to all editorial staff, contributors, freelance writers, and anyone else involved in producing or distributing content for the Journal.

2. Editorial Integrity

1. Accuracy and Fact-Checking
   • All content must be fact-checked and verified to the best of the writer’s ability.
   • Data points and statistics must cite credible sources whenever possible.
2. Transparency
   • Any sponsored content, promotional materials, or affiliate relationships must be disclosed clearly.
   • Content reflecting personal opinions or editorials should be labeled as such.
3. Conflict of Interest
   • Contributors must disclose any financial or personal interests that could influence their content (e.g., ownership in an interior design supplier).

1. Quality & Relevance
   • Articles, images, and multimedia must align with the Journal’s focus on luxury home staging, interior design, and related real estate topics.
   • Content should provide value, insight, or updates relevant to readers (e.g., design tips, market trends, case studies).
2. Prohibited Content
   • The Journal does not permit hateful or discriminatory language, obscene materials, illegal activities, defamation, or any content that violates applicable laws.
   • We do not allow plagiarism or uncredited use of copyrighted materials.
3. User-Generated Content
   • Readers may contribute comments or feedback. These must adhere to the same content standards.
   • We reserve the right to remove comments or materials that violate these guidelines or are deemed inappropriate.

4. Licensing & Intellectual Property

1. Ownership of Content
   • The Journal retains the rights to all original materials produced under its supervision.
   • Contributors grant the Journal a non-exclusive license to publish their work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Use of Third-Party Materials
   • Any external images, quotations, or other materials must be used under proper license or with explicit permission.
   • Proper attribution (e.g., captions, citations) must be included where applicable.

5. Privacy & Data Protection

1. End User Data
   • In line with Google’s Reader Revenue Manager Terms, any personal information (e.g., email addresses for newsletters or subscription sign-ups) will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
   • End User Data is used solely for account creation, subscription management, and communications relevant to the Journal, and never sold to third parties.
2. Consent & Compliance
   • We provide a link to our full Privacy Policy at the point of data collection.
   • Readers may unsubscribe or request data removal at any time, consistent with data protection laws.

6. Subscriptions & Payment Processing

1. Reader Revenue Manager Compliance
   • All paid subscriptions (where applicable) are facilitated via Google’s Reader Revenue Manager and adhere to their terms of service.
   • We abide by Google’s refund and cancellation policies, which may allow full refunds in certain circumstances (e.g., faulty description, EU or Brazil user rights).
2. Pricing & Service Fees
   • Subscription prices are displayed clearly; any applicable taxes or fees are disclosed during checkout.
   • Google may deduct a service fee and any required taxes before remitting payment to the Journal.

7. Corrections & Retractions

1. Corrections
   • If any factual inaccuracies are discovered, the Journal will promptly correct the article and note the correction date and nature of the change.
2. Retractions
   • Should any content be deemed significantly flawed or misleading, the Journal may retract it entirely and issue a public statement explaining why.

8. Termination of Publication Rights

1. Policy Violations
   • The Journal reserves the right to remove or refuse to publish content that violates these policies or any applicable law.
   • Contributors who repeatedly violate our policies may lose the privilege of publishing with us.

9. Policy Updates

These Publication Policies may be modified at any time to reflect changes in industry standards, legal requirements, or our own operating procedures. Notice of significant changes will be posted on our website or sent to registered subscribers.
